Essex Location:

1st shift hours: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm

2nd shift hours: 3:15 pm – 1:45 am

 

Workdays: Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday (Just 4 days of work)

 

Winooski Location :

1st shift hours: 4:45 am – 3:15 pm

2nd shift hours: 3:45 pm – 2:15 am

 

Workdays: Monday – Thursday (Just 4 days of work)

 

Summary:

The Production Operator is responsible for assembling and preparing quality products while safely

operating on a variety of pressing and packaging equipment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assembles and prepares goods from the production line with efficiency to ensure timely load

and shipment.

 Inspects the products as they come off the line to ensure they match quality specifications.

 Moves materials or completed products to established locations.

 Supports the cleanup of production lines and maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

 Supports and adheres to company’s policies, procedures, and values.

 Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

 Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

 Efficient and effective communication and relational skills.

 Strong hand/eye coordination and dexterity.

 Ability to understand guidelines and then effectively and efficiently perform routine duties with

minimal supervision.

 

Education and Experience:

 Six to twelve months of relevant experience preferred but not required.

 

Physical Requirements:

 Constant standing is required while working on the production line as there are no chairs on the

production line.

 Performing repetitive actions when picking up product off the line.

 Frequently moving items weighing up to 30 pounds across the facility.

 Visual acuity to read and follow instructions as well as inspect product.
